I’d like to hear from anyone who has one of these printers too, thinking of getting one to replace my old SP540V.

I have the SG 300 and it is awesome, my only real gripe with it is finding the registrations marks after laminating, takes quite a bit of messing around, I have even left the vinyl in printed then cut with the marks and it says it can’t find them, a bit if adjusting and patience it eventually finds them but can be frustrating otherwise good machine.

Remove the media clamps and should work fine

Good to hear Mark. How long do you leave heavy print areas to outgas and are you finding the prints durable if not laminated?

    Hi Steve
I tend to leave them 24hrs to be on the safe side, not had any problems there.

What I will say is I am impressed with Roland, after posting my little review and tiny gripe I got a call from Matt and have now corrected the issue over the phone, turned out to be a simple firmware update. So top marks Roland from me.

Well I bit the bullet and bought an SG540, happy so far, very fast compared with my old SP540V, I keep setting jobs up and sending them to print, turn away and they’re done!
Print quality is good too with the lowest quality easily good enough for most jobs.
