Roland Profile Advise required
Hi All
I am new to printing with profiles and as I extend the range of products and tests I notice there are not a lot of profiles available for each different media. What is the normal practice for determining what profile should be used, is it educated guess like picking a similar profile to what you need (eg: satin paper profile can be used with satin roll up banner media? etc)
Any hints, tips and advice appreciated.

Hi Warren,
It is confusing, just use the Generic Vinyl II profile for everything, if you have the new version even better as it uses less ink but Gen II will give you the best results including the best pantone matches etc.
The only time I ever switch is when I want a really good vibrant solid colour and I don’t care about the PMS colour match then I use Sign & Display or Max Impact.
