    Hi

I have the option to potentially buy a roland PC 60 cutter and printer , however it requires a new print head. can anyone advise me on :

    a) how much the machine is worth without a print head (or one that doensnt work !!)

    b) how much a new print head would cost and is it easy to install ?

    many thanks indeed.

To replace the head expect to pay up to £500 (supplied & fitted) depending on what part of the country you live in.

If I were buying this I would be prepared to pay about £1000 assuming a new head was all that was needed.

    Just my opinion

A new printhead is £175.00 and you can fit them yourself if you are half decent at fixing things, and speak to the right person on these boards. 😉

Price would be dependent on how old the machine is… between £1000 & £2000.

    hi
unless you get it very cheep an amount you are prepared to loose – i would negotiate a price fully working not all apparant head faults are the head itself – it proberbly is but could be a very expencive mistake.
