    hi

i have the same prob with my pc600, i contacted roland and the guy said he would drop one in the post for me when he had a spare min——3 months later – no disc, so i gave up.

i guess if you realy want one just bug them at Roland and I’m sure you`ll get one

    ( then you could do me a copy 😉 😉 😉 )

    best wishes

    hi rich,

as far as I’m aware the only difference using the colour choice software is that it transfers the job to print faster, i use mine with corel 11 and touch wood i haven’t had any major probs, the only thing I’m trying to master is printing gradual fades to letters, the machine does it but the colours are completely different to the one on the screen, so maybe the colour choice is the answer for this kind of print?????

    answers on a postcard guys

Sorry if this sounds ignorant, but what does the Roland Colour Choice do? Is it a print manager or something else entirely? I’ve heard it mentioned before, and tried doing some reading up on it, still none the wiser to what it actually does. 😕

    hi dewi mate
it is a print manager and allows for lots more setting only playing about at moment but some good bits ,like any other program its going to take a while to get what you want from it

Go to the Roland website an register go to the forums and Jday has images in his gallery for PC60 settings in RCC which are very good also some info on how to get rid of the banding I have manged to get rid of it on spot colours but not quite on CMYK just need more fiddling. (I hope)

Banding is a pain in the posterior 😕 It always seems to happen when you really need a good print, never when its on something thats being mounted 8ft up and no-one will ever notice. Be good to find some tips on reducing the problem, nice one Gordon 😀
