Have a look in the Roland printers forum. This has been covered several times with various remedies.

    Cheers

    Hi Martin,
i am having similiar problems with my SP-540 today? Af far as versaworks and the printer are concerned everything is ok, but it keeps stopping and will not restart printing? What did you do to cure it?

    cheers

    Dan

Hi,Sorry should of told you all how i cured my problem !
first of all i re-installed versa works (remember to save all media profiles you may have acquired ),then updated my firmware on printer, then finally looked in my control panel and found that i had 2 roland 300v’s in the printers, one was ticked so i deleted the other and every things been fine since, printed 5 sets of mx graphics yesterday no prob’s.My wife said about the printers in control panel as she had problems and resolved it by deleting one of them 😎 Hopefully this will solve a few head aches out there . thank’s martin
