Hey everyone, hope you are all well!! Do any of you use Ritrama O range (polymeric) or KPMF 50000 range vinyl? We have used Metamark for years but have recently come across this range of vinyl at a really great price. Just wondering what your experiences wiith regards to splitting, shrinking, longetivity, weeding etc with these brands of vinyl was?

Used Ritrama O range for years before switching to 3M 50 series for general use.

Both perform almost identically being easy to cut, week & apply so long as you don’t mind working with one of the stickier products on the market.

Does suffer from light shrinkage over a few years. most noticeable on light vehicles and large areas of vinyl.

Not used the KMPF vinyl except in sample form many, many years ago. Didn’t like it at the time as a cut vinyl but apparently their wrap stuff is good.

Metamark – we use MD3 every day for print. Don’t like their vinyl much for cut vinyl as it’s not grabby enough on first contact but does have a very nice range of colours.

I’d make enquiries about the 3M 50 series with William Smiths as it’s comparable in price to the Ritrama.

Whatever you do – don’t buy the L&M series Ritrama, it’s only fit for putting in the bin…horrible, cheap stuff.

Thanks dave!! Really didnt want to spend too much money buying a few rolls in and then a vehicle or sign come back in six months with it cracking or peeling.

ive used ritrama quite a lot as it was a great price, have noticed on a few jobs ive seen since, slight shrinkage. im new to this so dont have the experience to say how common it is.

ive used kpmf to, find both easy to work with but its all ive really used up to this point as such so dont have a lot to compare.

i did wrap my e46 bmw as trial using kpmf matt orange and black, it was by no means perfect but easy enough to work with considering it was only thing ive ever wrapped.

the supplier i always use out of convenience now does Avery, so ive bought some of it in for next few jobs, any info on that would be appreciated .
