Rigid PVC for engraving
Hi Everyone;
My first post on here so just want to say hello. No photo yet but will upload one soon!
I have a question about rigid PVC sheet for engraving.
We have a customer who is insistent on using this specific material (for an application involving chemicals) for an engraved sign but I cannot find anywhere. I are sure that there have been grades available in the past but maybe the suppliers stopped making?
They won’t consider paper-based alternatives at this stage so I am holding out my hopes that I can find a UK source of PVC.
Any thoughts would be gratefully appreciated!

Do you mean Phenolic, the engraving laminate?

Hi Rick,
No – we really do mean PVC!
Customer doesn’t want Phenolic as the sign is going to see water and they aren’t great under those circumstances. PVC is ideal but difficult to source!
