    scraper & a lot of cleaner, I use various solvents & for anything stubborn preptone but be careful of surrounding paint work etc.

    Rapid gum remover or the equivalent from grapityp/doro or whoever… lots of it!

    wallpaper steamer, then for the bits of glue left, avery panel cleaner.

    Rich, if you have access to a steamer of some sort (Jiffy Steamer) i would definately use that. I used to tint cars while i worked in a custom autobody while in high school and this was the way to go. Straight ammonia and all purpose 409 cleaner work well too, just saturate the window with it and let it sit for about 10 mins, then soak them again an peel it.

    Rich, I would have said use a wallpaper stripper as well, only had to do it once but it did a good job, maybe because the adhesive they use is water activated. Wasn’t a lot of glue left but removed that with soapy water and then finished off with IPA.

    lol, my brother dd a yts scheme, training as a mechanic (proper one that fixes things… not one of them fitters !), but yeah, blimey… 15yr ago almost. 😮

    The scheme used to be called ANCO here, it was christened ‘Ah Now Come On!’ because that was the response you usually got if you politely asked them to work 😀 😀 😀
