Refine Cutter with Flexisign
I am new to vinyl graphics and cutting etc. and this is going to sound stupid but I just invested a fair bit into good software and probably not enough into the cutters but the cutters cut fine with ArtCut, probably more on the plug and play capability. I wanted Flexisign to make things easier if i employ staff for training and ease of use. now the software looks great and its well worth the expenditure,
My Problem is that FlexiSign does not have a cutter profiles for Refine cutters. Is there an option to set manually? I am using USB, but I think i am going to change them to parallel and would like your thoughts and advice on getting the cutters working working in FlexiSign.

Try contacting Scanvec to see if they have drivers for it yet.

Thanks, I have contacted Scanvec and will wait for a reply. if they dont have a driver is there a universal driver or something? I doubt they will refund the software because it does not support my cutters. I should have looked first but I was told to buy it and not to worry. now I am worried :S

try using hp-gl or dm-pl standard plotter settings.
is there a setting for king plotters on that software, that might work.
i would use com or serial port if poss, usb and plotters from china dont mix ..been there..lolhope its up and running soon

Premiersign co uk have this driver but you have to have either purchased the cutter from them or buy a support contract before they will allow you to access the support page.

I use a refine via flexi 7.6 & Signlab 7 and it works under a roland profile:
PNC-1000 / 1050 (cant remember which one)
Any help?
