  • Reducing nodes in Signlab

    Hi All,

I have a logo that I’ve scanned in to SignLab and after I vectorized it it has loads of nodes. I seen somewhere once that you can remove some of the nodes by selecting some and SignLab would smooth them out. I cant remember how to so it.

Can someone shed some light on where to find this function on Signlab 8.

    Many Thanks

    From Mark

    Select nodes,
press u – this deselects every other node
Press r to delete nodes that are selected.

Reduces nodes but is a bit of a ‘dirty’ solution as it is indiscriminate how it works ie the node deleted maybe a corner or important curve node so shape can change. Compared to Corel’s reduce nodes it needs some work.

    Try this,…..
Double click the object…then sweep select all the nodes…type "u"… then hit delete. This will delete every other node!
