Red color is missing on printouts – Roland SC 500 – help?

Hello,

I own Roland SC 500. Few days ago it was printing ok, but today I noticed that red color is missing on all printouts.
The machine test print is ok… all nozzels are working perfectly. But when I send a print job from my FlexiSign the red is missing. It is light orange instead.
I also try from another computer to exclude software error but it’s the same.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Hi
if your nozzle print is ok, then may be magenta dampers blocked it gets enough ink to do nozzle print but not enough for full colour although you do normally see some red to start with

Also, try another magenta ink cartridge, could be something as simple as that. ALSO! try and print a solid block (1220 X 300 mm ish) of magenta, see if it flushes the head.

It seems that I solve the problem.
I reinstall cartridge, shake a bit and it’s working again.
