  • Recyclable, printable panner material – any ideas?

    Afternoon folks…
I was wondering if anyone had come across some recyclable banner material?
We’re creating banners for a job that will be rolled up, stored and reused however, the client has specified that the banners need to be recyclable.
We did fancy the HP HDPE material but on testing this today we’ve discovered that it’s not compatible with solvent printers despite what HP say in the data sheet.
We liked the Tyvek but that creases easily when not in use, plus we’ve found there are so many people selling different versions of it we can’t get the same stuff twice.
Has anyone got any ideas? The spec needs to be as follows:-

    Recyclable
    As little stretch as possible
    Solvent printable (Roland machines)
    Available at 1525 width
Weldable (although this isn’t critical at this stage)

I think that’s it… I’d be really grateful to hear of anything you know of.
    Thanks.
