  • Ready Made Canvas Frames?

Posted by OwenTaylor on 3 October 2008 at 08:19

    Morning chaps,

I don’t normally produce canvasses but it’s getting to that time of year and my family have started asking me to make them for presents etc.

Does anyone know a supplier of cheap pre-made canvas frames?

    Many thanks, Owen

Not a bad site there, what’s the difference between stretcher bars and cross bars though??

I’ve just got my first order in from these guys, pretty happy so far!

Cross bars are for extra (internal) support on large jobs.

    Morning Warren. How’s it going?.

Get your frames quick from Matt @DCMK, he is no longer doing them after his stock runs out.

This is the problem with the ‘cheap’ suppliers, they cannot keep it up. Then in the end its his clients that loose out.

I wonder how many people will have to tell their long standing customers that the price is going up because of this scenario.

Whats the saying? "a busy fool", but in a lot of cases pressurised into it by their clients.

"so and so is 50p cheaper than you" etc etc.

It always the signmaker that eventually losses out when these good suppliers go to the wall and in some cases could result in the odd signmaker failing also.

    Very Sad.
