Had an urgent phone call at 5.30pm yesterday from a long term customer.

He needed some graphics putting on a Grand Cherokee car before he goes to Cardiff at 7am today! He can’t come to me so I had to meet him at a shell garage at 6am.

Obviously an ungodly hour so there was only one mug that could do the job!

So naturally, willing to help in a crisis I said yes. So there I was on a Shell forecourt putting graphics on car in the cold (4 degrees) at 6am this morning.

My point is not the hour or time frame but the fact that I was using a Shell Garage forecourt. A bit cheeky really? And it felt a bit unproffessional by being there.

Anyone done this type of thing?

Yeah, but the worst thing is when you do a turnaround like that and they take 3 months to pay for it!

We had to do a Luton Van in a Somerfield car park, as the owner had nowhere else to park it. Amongst the strange looks 😮 we were getting, we got another two small jobs out of it from a couple of onlookers 😀

    hmmm 🙂

The point I was making was, that I don’t like doing graphics for a customer in a public place like a petrol garage or a Somefield car park.

The whole money thing is another issue. 😮

    Cheers
