• Rant time grrrrr

    Ok time for a little rant, won’t name the supplier as the customer services manager and other members of staff frequent this site.

    Monday, phoned them and placed few hundred pounds worth of order. Free next day delivery.
    Tuesday afternoon, delivery not arrived so I chased it, only to be told it hadn’t been sent as the card was declined(Hexis and a few other suppliers had no problem) but no one had bothered phoning to confirm the numbers/get another cards details.
    Ok so they made amends by giving a small discount and putting for pre noon delivery foc.
    Wednesday, 12.15 no delivery, phoned to chase, couriers said delivered at 10.30 and signed for by mr xyz(not anyone I knew). Then she read out the address, not one I knew and it was over 200 miles away! (courier fault apparently).

    Anyway so now they are re-sending the order for pre 9am delivery tomorrow so we’ll see if it turns up, really not impressed as have to keep stalling customer.

    Then we have no phone or internet as BT are sodding about and told us, will be mended by end of day FRIDAY.

    Ok rant over, thanks for listening.

    Well that bit makes it seem like us and me 😳

    Lee if it is then give me a call and I will right the wrongs for you, if not then phew there is another customer services manager who gets grief too.

    :rofl: Believe me Nigel, plenty of CSM’s here in OZ that get grief… (not from me of course, I’m an Angel (angel)) …. deserved in most cases, but few care enough to right the wrong from my experience 👿

    The reps are good in most cases though. I had a supplier yesterday deliver me a roll of app tape and 10 squeegees…. Pity I ordered App tape and magnetic sheets. A quick call to my rep, he rang his office, the CSM kicked some butts… my mag was on the next courier… He felt good that he could vent his spleen, and I was left happy with the result. A win win for us both really :lol1:

    Shane you have hit the nail on the head there mate, the "kicking of butts" is the thing that keeps me sane lol.

    Right still have no phoneline or internet due to BT’s incompetence however did have a good chat with Nigel the other day so all sorted there and thanks again Nigel.

    Have a new problem today, ordered some ink yesterday for the JV3, happy to pay the saturday delivery as needed it urgently (CMY and K) so saturday comes, it’s now nearly half three and no delivery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I’m stuffed. Of course being saturday afternoon, the courier and the supplier offices are no shut.

    Really not impressed (Incidently if anyone close to Lincs has any I can nab I’d be gratful) as will probably have to work through Monday night to get a load of banners made once printed.

    Oh well as Peter says, smelly stuff happens and this week it happens all at once 😀
