  • Quickest way to paint wooden dowels?

    hello,

I need 300 wooden dowels 5-6mm diameter, 500mm long, black. I found only natural colour, I tried to use wood stain but 1 coat is not enough, it’s hard wood, and I have no time for 2 coats.

I also found PVC rods but apparently they are not very rigid, I have to put a small flag on top and stick them into the ground.

Any idea how to quickly turn them black? Paint?

    Thank you

You could use nylon/DeLeon/acetal rod but they can be expensive.
You could use automotive paint and spray it.

I am sure you will figure it out

Thanks all, wrapped didn’t work well so I tried a few spray paints and one did the job.
