  • Quickbooks Price increase for Payroll

Well we renewed our payroll and was forced to setup a direct debit, but its staggering!

Previously it was £85+vat per year for a 1 user license for QB Pro 2006 or 2008 and has been for many years.

It is now £23 (No Support) £30.50 (With Support) per month and this totals to £276+vat per year or £366+vat.

    A staggering increase!

My thoughts once I have verified the pricing that it is correct, is to cancel straight away and try and go elsewhere for Payroll separate to Quickbooks.

Apart from Sage, who else is trusted with your payroll?

Now let’s see, what else does QB stand for other than Quickbooks.
Oh yes. Quick Buck, and don’t they know how.

We can confirm that the price given to you is correct.

From this payroll year on, QuickBooks Payroll Price has been increased from 99.95 ex vat per annum to 19.95 ex vat per month.

The payment method has also been changed from Outright payment to Direct Debit.

well slightly different figure today on email… it is still £228+vat

Anyone know of a smaller program that does payroll and keeps up to date with IR?
