Cant see an obvious thing in the cutting options, problem is this – if for example the artwork was MY ART WORK when it comes to cutting, rather than cutting the M then the Y then the outside of the A, inside of the A etc… the cutting order will hop around from one letter to another, so it may cut the M and Y, then go over and do the W, then the outside of the R, then the K, then back and do the inside of the A.

It never does this on my old PNC, it always cuts each logo completely then moves on to the next one.

Is there a way of setting it so it will cut all of one part, then move on to the next ?

if you left the art work as normal lettering it will do one after the other but i would imagine, that behavior is because you have broke it apart and combined parts.

I’m pretty sure this is related to the software producing the artwork file. Signlab, for example, allows you to set the cut sequence. What software do you use?

yes peter in corel it cuts from the back of the drawing first.
so to make a object cut first you send it to the back of the drawing.

I make the artwork in Corel X3 – will have to try putting things in a different order to see how that effects it.

Normally I’ll be cutting lots of things at once, say 10 or 20 different designs on the one sheet, so it could be something to do with that
