  • Public liability insurance, advice please?

    Just been quotes £722 for public and employers liability insurance, i have 3 staff and i think this is abit steep…who do you use and how much should i be paying???…cheers everyone

    Is that a quote or a renewal price? I have found in the past when the renewal arrived it had gone up a lot, quick phone call & mention of going else where miraculously reduced it 😆

    What you haven’t mentioned was what level of cover that gives you, when I was working full time mine was a lot higher than it could have been because some of the Shopping Centres I was working in demanded a minimum of £10,000,000 public liability. Now I only work part time on my own & do mainly vehicle livery so it’s at the minimum level & is a lot cheaper 😆

    Mmmm. I was told by a broker you cannot just buy employers liability insurance, it comes as a package for your contents/ business interruption etc

    Business insurance, contents of £200k, employees and public liability Approx £1200 local company

    It’s agaist the law not to have employees liability insurance is you have staff, so I was told.
