    Hi everyone.
I have got problems with a print job I’ve done recently.
I’ll fill you in with a bit of background…. Early last year I printed a logo onto D-140 moisture resistant paper and framed it.
The picture has sat in the frame since then with no problems.
The photography studio has now rebranded so I reprinted the new logo on 200gsm photo paper with my versacamm and re-framed it but after a few days the paper buckled.
I told my customer his studio must be getting too cold at night or humidity levels must be too high. He’s based in a converted, large mill so I can imagine the temperature falling off the scale at night.
Anyway I printed the image again along with some others on to the tried and tested d-140 paper we’d used originally.
Only this time these have bucked aswell. :bangshead:

I wondered if anyone had had this problem or can think of a solution.

I was thinking of using spraymount or something similar to stick the pictures to the back board in the frame.

The other possible solution would be to print onto vinyl and mount it to foamex and fit this into his frames.

Any ideas are more than welcome.

    Many thanks

We use a polypro paper not really a paper more of a plastic but no problem with moisture as I tested this by placing it in a bucket of water for a week.

Photos need to be board mounted that go in large frames, this is what most framers do. Just look up photo mounting board you’ll find it.
Anything on photopaper will always have that ripple effect after a while without.
