I’ve done a bit of window etching before but i had a job last week where we were applying window etch to new glass. We applied using water, however there was huge streak marks, does any body have any better application suggestions on how to stop the streaking?

The streak marks should disappear on curing / drying, check it out after a couple of days.

generally its better to apply dry, even then on close inspection you may get pressure streaks in the adhesive, but as said above, give it a few days and all will be fine

ok just my opinion but for all but etch I apply dry !!!
however when using etch i use rapid tac this drys well and if your working with large window graphics allows for a little give when getting into position

I only use etched glass that has a solvent based adhesive, this way you can apply as wet as you want and float the material into place, water based adhesive is prone to marking if fitting wet. hope this was of some use
