    Hello everybody,

I have a Summa Cutter D120r and I problems cutting with it!!

My problem is that when I want to cut something it cuts everything like half of it
and than returns again and cut the other half…I dont know if you understand me well! An example if I give to the cutter the comand to cut a circle it goes like cut the half of the circle than the other half and done, before was not this problem before was normal and just gave to cut a circle it cuts it all over without interpreting of cutting the half and then cut the half of it again.
I have the cutter since 1 year it worked all fine but one day I try to cut something as I said before and it does it nor right!!!
I didnt change anything on my settings or anything it just happend so its weird !

If anyone has an idea about this please let me know.

    Best Regards,
    Albion

    welcome to the forum,

Have you changed any settings lately? over cut setting perhaps?

I usually find that uninstalling and re-installing the software will sort any issues.

    regards,
    Hugh

    Hi Albion

It may be possible that you have "panels" switched on in the cutter.

This feature is designed to split a cut job up into user-defined sections or panels – all lines within the defined area are cut before it moves on to the next section.

It’s for when you don’t want the cuttter to make big movements back & forwards on a big job to maintain accuracy.

Have a look on the cutter to see if Panels are switched on.
