problem with blues printing with a purple tinge
Hi all im having an issue with an image that has been supplied to me, on screen it looks fine when i send it to print the preview in the vpm and it looks purple and thats how the output on the printer turns out ?any ideas would be appreciated ?
Im using signlab 8 running on xp pro ive tried it on my sp300 and also sp540v with the same results the file that is being used is a pdf ?Regards

Just a thought ive done all the usual stuff head clean etc and test print is fine with no drop out etc

Is it a cmyk file?

Have you tried changing CMYK to RGB?Have you got a WYSIWYG computer screen?

Hi Matty ive tried that and still no better it seems to be to do with when the image is sent to print to the vpm is where its changing colour i just did a solid rectangle picked a similar colour from my palet and same thing happens as soon as it shows the preview in the print manager it shows as a purple colour not a blue as it shows on the desktop mmm any ideas !!!!

kev hav you got the colour management turned on?
are you sure the colour is supposed to be blue?
and is your screen using the correct profile?
is the image a vector or a raster file?
are you using the correct material profile.signlab can be a bit awkward when it comes to printing blues,
