printing xbox skins advice ?
i want to print xbox skins
i m told to do it by lamination
so wat do i print on to [ vinyl sticky paper ?]
wat kind of inks ect sublimation ?
laminator pouches laminate both sides so how would u laminate vinyl on one side so as to keepthe sticky side yet still coat the stickerplease dont be anoyed if it sounds stupid but its really confuseing me
just dont no wat to buy -

laminating is one side, encapsulating is both.
printing onto adhesive paper is fine if you are laminating, grafityp do a nice one that doesnt tear easy, i got a sample at sign show, thats how i know 😉 laminate that is fine, you could do it without a machine at that size. however you need to contour cut after laminating so you would need a cutter that recognises registration marks etc.
if you have a solvent printer i wouldnt bother with laminating… -
hi basically i have a 24 inch cutter and some sub stuff fo rmugs ect
no one does this stuff up here so a good market if i can get it right
i was going to buy pre printed vinyl but at 35 quid a meter seemed a bit dear concidering id get 2 xboxes done out of a meter and skins are avail on ebay for 5 quid upwardswat exactly would i have to buy to print on to vinyl in small lenghts then laminate if required
bearing in mine a very small budget

amnd also is there a supplier here thats up in aberdeen ish that i could go and see for vinyl and equipment as it seems most of u know suppliers local and chat to them every other day from what im reading on other posts

you`re going after a very small profitable market.
you`ve got to ask yourself is it worth it. esspecially as there are all ready other people doing this.
with out being rude, may i suggest you try to think of something nobody else has thought of! I know thats the killer bit, but if you do find a product, then you`d be able to charge more for it.
