Needed to make some mags so thought i would give it a go. Mag is from Bisbel just standard .9 mm, printed on Roland Soljet with Generic profile 720 x 1440 i reduced the head speed to be on the safe side, head height middle temp 40.c. Quality seems fine & scratch ability seems very good. I tried to scratch it whilst the test was still hanging in the printer.

I’m in no way suggesting anyone else do it but just thought i would share

Tied everywhere else but couldn’t show the pic

I’m pretty sure there are some specific digital print magnetic materials available now. Anyone tried any?

there is but they are not vehicle grade, i actually spoke to bisbell about them before purchasing the .9. They have improved the vinyl quality which helps it print so well

did not cut them then 😉

i would have thought you might have raised the head height to be safe.

out of interest can you measure them please as the last time i did this the print was fine but out of measurement in the feed direction, if i remember about 5mm in 500mm.

    well done

the JV3 is promoted to cut mags… the model I have has the metal front so the magnetics just stick to it, it is now plastic.

    nice work kev
but all that effort when you can slap vinyl over it
