    Hi everyone,
    Can you help please.
I make music stands and my graphics are pretty basic, either cut vinyl or digital print onto vinyl that I float on. http://www.bigbandstands.com

More and more I’m being asked if I can put bands logos onto the drummers bass drum. Anyone on here do this or know who can please?

    Thanks

    Billy

    Hi Billy,

If your cutting and printing vinyl already you can do this yourself.
You just need the bass drum size 22" 24" etc and the location and size of the bass port if it has one.

Go to your local music shop and buy one or two of their most popular skins and you can practice on them.

We have supplied these to a few bands, and have just cut them in standard vinyl, and the customer has fitted themselves.

The skin’s are quite taught and smooth, so not to difficult to fit. Not sure if a large digital print would affect the tone of the drum, but can always ask them?

    Hi Billy,

We’ve seen Awesome Merchandise produce a lot of these. They’re pretty good guys so might be able to offer advice or help.
Feel free to let them know we sent you their way.

    Thanks,
    Chris.

Thanks all – I’ve got some skins coming to practice on, and I’ve spoken to Awesome Merch too.

    Sorted.

    Thanks again,

    Billy

    Here’s mine.

Printed on Metamark MD5 on a Mimaki JV33 and fitted by Signs Express in Harlow. It was only a temporary one but I’ve decided to keep it on there. It’s lasted maybe 6 months of gigging every other weekend so far and not so much as even a bubble in that time.
