No, the eyelets would come into contact with the print head,
so not a good idea. -

for a cheap and cheerful banner banner eyelet machine i think yuan yuan di them for £85.
for the cheapest and best hemming tape ide give JIT – Just In Time and mention i have asked you to call regarding an account or sale. also that you are an UKSG member. i have just confirmed a dealfor UKSG members but has NOT yet been loaded.weclome feedback on dealing with them.
when speaking with him you are after toffee tape or mention the alternative I USE named tesa tape… he will give you the EQUIVELANT at a better price.

top man thanks so much for your help, ill get onto it monday morn, cheers guys

I think for cheap and cheerful. dont use eyelets, the self adhesive or "grabber" type are the way to go, and you can just supply for the customer to self fit

yea cheap and cheerful is the way the customer wants to go, hes only going to be using it a couple times a year at exhibitions so i think well take that route, cheers for your time guys
-
cheap and cheerful is ok but if using for exhibitions you need to sell a product that will sell your customers product. It needs to be the best quality, even though only used occasionally.
Cheap signage does not convey the best message to potential customers
so maybe the way to go is to convince the client to spend a bit more.

well not wanting to chuck a spanner in the works guys but ide say ditch the old grab-on eyelets and the like. hem and tape every time.
i know its more time consuming etc but seriously… if we cant loss this in the price of a banner you are NOT charging enough.it has to be better sending out equal quality every time, than faffing about saving a few pence here and there for your customer. i have had custonmers come in from other isgn firms using grab-ons and the like. some missing, some not etc the normal openeing sentence is im after something cheap but better than this!
these grab-on eyelets are not really that cheap in multiples.
if an eyelet machine can be had for £85 then lets face it as a business, you dot have an excuse to pump out inferior quality.no slating in this post guys, just voicing some thoughts. 😀
