Printing a solid colour replacing vinyl
Hey Guys,
Little question i am hoping sombody can answer,
I am doing a partial van wrap, basically a pastel green going diagonally up the side of a transit. The customer wants their specific green which is a light pastelly colour. I have the pantone and can print it on my solvent printer but is it acceptable to have light banding through a solid colour, i am getting faint white lines across the print ( i have adjusted the feed). I dont know if i am being too anal about it as i want it to look like vinyl but is this ever possible with a print around 1350mm x 10m.I wish i didnt have to print a solid colour but i suppose its what i have to do to secure the job!
(seiko 64s, one ‘dodgy’ LC head, a few nozzle missing)
Cheers
Tom
