Hi all, sorry about this question I got the dates mixed up for the show at the Nec.
Am looking for a printer which will allow us to print on a water proof cloth as well all the other features.

Me and my old man are arguing that it should be a ribon printer as it’s drak colors which has White and purple mainly, or would the ink system do this,

I think you will struggle to find a printer to do that.
May be look at sublimation printing before waterproofing (depending on material).
Cut garment vinyl and heat press an option?

Well the fabric comes on big rolls and we need to print, but samples we been given look like it’s a ribbon kind or print and not ink, they no bigger than 1ft wide

Depending on the ‘waterproof material’ could it have been done on a Gerber Edge?

Just thinking "foot wide" & "ribbon".

    Edge…

Take too long to explain so I Googled one…

It’s the MACHINE you see – uses rolls (cartridges) of thermal transfer ribbon to print onto various materials.
