    Hi all
I just want to share some of my works with you guys, the attached is my first wrap and I did it on my own van.
I had all the printing subcontracted and I did all the installation myself, I did cover with liquid laminate and I want to see how long it will last, over here it gets pretty hot in summer (well 9 out of 12 months).
    Just wait and see.
    Ciao
    Gino

Looks good to me, nice work. Pity you didnt move the word “signs” on the right side so that it could be read in whole.

Have you been on any courses for wrapping or did you just “get stuck in”?
If the latter how did you find the going? 😕

    Hi all

    Thanks for your nice comments.
I never had any courses but I did learn from a good friend of mine, he is a good airbrush artist and he is excellent for vehicle wrapping, I did give him a hand to wrap a Toyota van and I learned alot from him.
The most important for wrapping is to use the right media and have alot of patiance (that’s what I think). I had a couple of creases on my first van but my friend showed me how to correct my own mistakes and I got along well on my second van.

I’m impressed, I would love to learn how to wrap, might even be prepared pay money to learn (and I am the meanest man in Essex) never had the bottle to try – well done I hope it is something that becomes a good earner for you.
The trouble with the demos I see at shows is that they always seem to cover the same bloomin’ door or panel, I want to see them negotiate hinges, door handles, fuel filler apertures etc.

    Regards
    Alan

    Couldn’t agree more Alan.

Gino, brill job 😀 Might sound like a silly question this, but what colour was the orginal van? And start to finish, how long did it take you?

    Cheers, Dewi

    Hi
It took me a full days work to wrap both side doors, both side panels and doors at the back. The original van colour is white. Actually all front and top are unwropped.

Sweet job there Gino. I’ve never heard of the the vinyl or the machine you’re using. An idea for the S in signs may be a white S when the letter goes over the black area. How wide are the panels ? Do they have special adhesive system in the back that lets the air out . Avery sells a EX apply and 3M sells a product called Comply here that prevents bubbles.
