Nice job mate. What software did you use to blow up the pictures, or did they supply it to size?
cheers

great work as ever mate…
i wondering the process of doing work like this?
we have an order in just now for 4 18 wheel trucks with curtains full colour digital prints. the customer wants us to overlay digital prints but its a definate no… ide give it a go but wouldnt garauntee it in any way…im also ducking out of the get the curtains printed because i dont know enough about the process…
can i ask how you go about this?
who supplies the curtain material? ide have thought it would have to be a decent digital print receptive material or just bog standard stuff?
what sort of “oversize” should the curtain be before it is hemmed and starpping put on?
did you just hand artwork to trade supplier and ask them to take on the headache?
sorry for all the questions im just nosey mate 😉
thank you for taking the time to post your work 😀

DSI, Software was Photoshop/Coral 12
Rob, I got Stronghold to make the cutains, they inturn used a company in Reading called VGL, who done all the printing. I just got all the artwork sorted and sent it to Stronghold.
Cost for “Printing” 1 set of cutains @ 4600 x 1800 was £1250 + VAT 🙄 not cheap.
This is my first digi curtain sider i have done. Not in to much of a hurry to do another, but hey its another feather in the cap 😉
Rob if you need any Contact Numbers let me know.

cheers mate i may do that… 😉
i know what you mean about getting involved with projects like this.
for me, when i dont feel 100% confident or know enough about the job, i always think we should price over the top, that way if we get it its maybe worth the headache to learn more about the process. it doesnt always work out this way as many of us will know, but on this occasion the firm in question has been taken over by an american company and all prints and installation are being done in england on a rebrand, so helping them on their artic trailers would get our foot back in the door because the english sign company has taken a back seat. its a gamble though, even if we go in at reasonable price and do the job, there is no garuantee we will get the rest of the fleet of about 50 rigid sided full wrap trucks and various small van wraps. 🙄gut instinct… walk away 😕

Nice work, I’m really keen to get into the digital printing side of things, maybe not on this scale to start with 😕
It sounds easy to just pass the print on but the organising and the artwork can sometimes give you the biggest headache.
Jobs a gud un!! 😎
Aaron.
