Hi – I would welcome your comments on this design I am working on for the local kick boxing school. The customer is worried that it looks a bit too aggresive – (perhaps I should show him in a tu tu)
    What do you think

Try reducing the size of the image, it may take the edge off it. The rest looks good.

I think this is definately less aggressive ,not sure if it suits the subject 😀

😆 I would run faster from the last one..

To be honest I like the banner. Looks good!

    Constructive criticism…
The aggressive side of it maybe implied by the clinched fists… more a street fight than a martial art sorta thing.
In the area that the large fist/arm is… why not replace that with a large FOOT.
Making the man and his left fist a background sort of image. Even blur it a little but keep the large sole of foot clear and in your face…
My only grind would be the telephone number. It appears most prominent.
The main info text seems stacked in a cluster.
I personally would maybe drop the tel number to one line and smaller, moving it to bottom. Maybe make the Thai & kickboxing one line and increase size. Colours are fine…

hope this helps some… great stuff though.. thanks for taking the time to post

    Hi Rob
Yeh – Thanks for that. I think you are definately right about the phone number taking up too much space. Couldn’t put my finger on what was bugging me. I am quite happy with the rest of the design.
As for the photo it was the only one the customer brought in so I may have to superimpose my foot on the end of his arm and hope nobody notices.

(by the way – the guy is only about 4′ 11″ tall – I got a real shock when he came in to view the layout)
