  • Print Substrate Voil??

    Hi Guys,

    I thought I knew my substrates, obviously not, could anyone enlighten me to what VOIL is as we have been asked to print on it, if you know the spec and make of it even better

    Simon.

    Voile is a floaty, chiffony, see-through type fabric.

    My wife uses it to make curtains and soft furnishings.

    I can send you a small sample if you like.

    Many Thanks John,

    I think we are going to struggle printing on that
    without a backing sheet, i think it must get screen printed or Dye Subbed
    many thanks for the sample offer, not needed this time I will go down the screen print route

    you will obviously need it with a backing otherwise you’ll cover your machine in ink. These people do various materials including Polyvoile

    We have used voile with a backing paper from Hexis
