  • Print – Laminate – Cut using Wasatch

Anyone know how to do this easily?

At the moment, I’m having to create 2 files, 1 with just the print image and one with just the cutpath.

I’ve seen an online guide using different RIP software, which has a check box to ‘enable cutter’ that you disable to perform the procedure. I can’t find anything like this in my software though (Wasatch SoftRIP – Version 5.2 – Roland Edition).

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks
    Mike

Go to the print menu – then click on "setup" then "edit" then "properties" then "Cutter". There you’ll find the check box so you can uncheck "enable cutter". Save the new setting and rip and print as normal. This will automaticaly produce a cut file that you can use later after laminating which you will find in the "cut" menu.

Spot on. Thanks. Been looking through for ages. Must have just missed that. Was getting the cut files generated, but couldn’t stop it from cutting before laminating.

I’ll have a play around with that now.
