Print head gone????
Hi all.
New to the forum on a participating level, but got some good ideas from various guys on here.
Here’s my problem……
Test print prints off 100%.
When I go to print a picture file the yellow head…… well, ya see what happens.
Any thoughts.
It’s a Roland sc545ex.Sean.

Looks to me like an electrical fault on the yellow head or cable.
You can often get away with it if you’re printing in a different mode/resolution to the test print. For example, IF the test draw is 360dpi uni, and you’re printing at 720dpi bi, you wouldn’t necessarily see it when printing. However, I would get an engineer to check it out as it might be on its way out.
