    Hi Folks,

What would be a good material to print stickers on the versacamm. I tried using a 3M Digital Vinyl but when finished the stickers have that soft and stretchy feel to them.

    Regards,

    Darren….

leave them 24hrs to out gas, its the solvent in the ink that makes them stretchy.

    Hi Robert,

Have tried that but they still don’t feel right.

I thought that there might be a specific material out there for stickers.

    Is There??

    Regards,

    Darren.

Metamark do a vinyl MDP which is thicker but depending on the amount of ink you put down they all go a big elastic until the ink is fully dry

metamark one is 100 microns whereas APS is 150. Prints well too, perfect for versacamm labels

I would have thought a vast amount of ‘self adhesive’ vinyls would be good enough for this job. Don’t you think either heat settings or the amount of ink put down will and can effect the media you are using.

which 3m material are you using.
    try printing some 1" squares
    50% cyan
    100% cyan
    red
    black.
    then notice the difference.
