Guess a little introduction is appropriate. Here in the UK since Feb following my marriage. Although new to the scene here I have worked in the industry for the past 5 or so years in Canada and the USA. Hope that is kosher enough not to have been removed…

Just wanted to pick your brains as to some pricing.

Design – Graphic – estimates from £25 to £40 an hour…. however, each designer varies as to how much time they will take, amount of revisions etc… Therefore, is there a rough medium as to price to design from concept with re: to say vehicle wraps? I know my designers and their time frames but I don’t want to be too high and lose the job or too low and devalue the market. Any suggestions?

As well, install costs. Ball park for wraps…

    VW Caddy
    Mercedes Vito
    VW Lt Dropside

Again – I know the costs @ home from previous experience but not really here do I have a clue. I bought the priceitsignguide to give me some guidance but it doesn’t have anything on wraps… stumbled across some work and got the go ahead. Just need to give him the figures… doesn’t seem like he is too bothered with re: to cost as long as it isn’t exorbitant..

Appreciate any help whatsoever. Hope to hear from some…

    Regards

Jarrett, can’t help you with pricing, but the only advice I can give is to ignore what others charge, and work out what it will cost you to do the job, what you’d like to make as a profit, and then charge accordingly. Its dangerous to base your costings on someone else’s overheads.

Be reasonable, and you’ll find what the market will bear after a few quotes. If you get every quote, your probably too cheap, if you don’t get any, your probably too dear.
