    Hi Phil

First thing is search the boards as much has been written on the subject but really your question is too vague to answer accurately as everyones circumstances and therefore their prices are and will be different – however get hold of a price it guide would be a step in the right direction

    Good luck

The price-it-guide is definitely a useful thing to have around. In most cases it will stop you underselling yourself. But remember it is a guide not gospel truth. As John mentioned, there are many situations and circumstances which differ between us all which will alter the pricing of jobs.

I took some advise from here in obtaining one.

I emailed and said that I was a member of UKSB, and had seen the guide mentioned on there, and would like a copy.

    Two days later…it was here

I’ve got the price it guide, the thing is i’ve got a sign 900mmx600mm to do in 4mm correx. the guide says for a complex layout that size its £39.43 but I somehow got it to £78! i know the guide is not gospel but surely there should not be that much difference?

    Cheers

The guide doesn’t really account for design time / logo generation / local variations.

Just write a percentage up or down at the top of the page for what you want / can get…

but remember that is a price without fitting sold maybe over a shop counter and takes no account of meetings design time if any and other variables
