    Hi there,

Due to work load I need a real quick way of pricing sheet material cut to size, the way I seem to do it seems to take forever.

Does anyone have a quick method on pricing. Say for instance I buy a 8 x 4 sheet of aluminium composite and need to cut out two bits at 800mm x 800mm and 2 x 210mm x 297mm whats the quickest way as when I seem to quote jobs the customer says I take to long to get prices although I send them over ASAP

We price by the square ft

high price for a small area, then on reducing sliding scale for larger sq ft.

We charge high, so all the waste is paid for and the bit box doesn`t owes up £100`s as it very rarely gets used tbh

We use clarity for all our quoting they do do a free version so you could try it out the free version has a few limitation like you can only quote upto 5 items at a time and no price list you get these on the paid versions.

Very good would recommend it save us lots of time on quoting and we print works orders and delivery notes from it also.

Yup price by the square metre/ft. I’ve got set prices for each material + vinyl. add a set amount for flood coating etc.
