Posted by Jason Davies on 14 May 2006 at 08:49Does anyone have an up to date price for 45m edge1/2 foils from spandex, I’ve seen prices stated on this board from £37, any advice greatly appreciated.

depends on the foil you buy. you can buy the CSS series of foils from Spandex for about £30 for 45 mtrs although the colours are limited in this range. you can then buy the GCS series for about £40 for 45 mtrs with many more colours to choose from. hope this helps.

Thats great, I was quoted at Spandex and told this was a good deal at £67.00, I’m not buying one or two a month either. Thanks for the info.

Thanks Paul, I might be wrong, but thats not the price for 45m, correct me if I’m wrong but the cheapest price I have for 10 or more is £39?
Cheers

Jason,
If you’re buying them frequently you should be able to negotiate it down to £32 per 45m refill ribbon. We’ve been buying them for years and that’s the price we have been paying for as long as i can remember now.
Good luck 😉

They are the boys to talk to, they are cheap and do the job well. watch out for the magenta process cartridge as it always seems to bright to me. you can also get some dura coat cartridges from hexis that are good.
I always use print one as they usually send you a bag of sweets too! maybe i’m just easy to please, but you don’t get much for free these days. They also supply in 25 and 45m rolls which is really useful.
Spandex have been overcharging on these for years, but you have to be careful that they don’t con you out of any warranty you have.
