Poppy Signs, Custom Light boxes, Entrance Porch

Not posted any work for a long time but wanted to share this one as we are so pleased with how it turned out.
Look at the before and after images so you can see how we’ve internally clad an existing structure. Essentially double sided edge-lit light boxes with a suspended inner mesh of acrylic – covered in bronze vinyl, complete with in-house made solid acrylic letters. The mesh sides glow really well at night.
Used 5 full 3mx2m sheets of 10mm clear acrylic for the basic structure, a couple full sheets of 5mm clear, loads of stainless steel angle /box, Oracal 970 black for finishing, Sloane LED’s and drivers. All accurately CNC’d and assembled off-site in 3 pieces to slide into the existing structure with fractions of a millimetre to spare – not an easy task when it took 5 people straining to position the three parts due to the weight and tight fit.

Wow, small world !!! I didn’t know you guys were related. He’s moved onto Superwide now – he wanted a different type of role and its about a minute from where he lives! Still speak to him quite often though but don’t think we’ll ever tempt him back – we miss his dry sense of humour.

Ahhh yes the sense of Humour is a Hammond trait. You probably speak to him more often than I do, can’t remember the last time I saw him, probably long before he started with you.
