    Hi there,

Does anyone know what settings I should be using for the offset on this machine?

it was cutting fine, the during one of my sessions I managed to put the offset to zero and couldnt remember what it had been set at originally.

unfortunately I havent been able to track down the information for this setup and the most I have found out is the various blade offsets required like 0.25 etc..but dont know how that translates to the PNC1100 as the digital readout goes up in increments of 1?

As the setting is now zero it now seems to leave "tags" when cutting which means the weeded vinyl lifts parts that it shouldnt, not sure if theres a proper name for this event?… (user error/stupidity??) 🙂

any information or pointers would be most appreciated

    Kindest regards
    Doug.

    Hi Chris,

Yup I thought that but the digital display for setting the offset starts at 1 and goes up in increments of 1?

is your machine set to ins not mm and presuming its set on the display screen.

only info i can find says it goes up in 0.025 mm steps think thats 1 thou so set to 10 = .25mm

could be a load of tosh

O.25 mm works well for us. (but it all depends on the blade being used-that’s for general fairly standard ones.

    0.25 mm = 1/4mm = 10 thou. imperial.
