Does anyone know if it is possible to convert Gerber PLT files to EPS (or anything else that I can open or place in Illustrator) please?

And if it is, would somebody be kind enough to do it for me please?

Unfortunately, you can’t upload *.PLT file here though 🙁

Opening it in Wordpad reveals it to be a "GRAPHIX ADVANTAGE® 5.0.0.71" file.

    Thanks,
    Richard

Change the file extension to .EPS / .JPG or something that will upload.

We can the download & change back to an EPS for upload 🙂

Signlab can import / export HGPL .plt files

That’s a damn good idea David.

    Yer ’tis.

I believe it is supposed to look like the JPG attached.

    Cheers

    Nope, not playing ball.

The PLT file has a load of embedded stuff in it rather than just a cut file so won’t import right.

    worth the try.

    That’s a shame.

    Thanks for trying though David.

I will try tomorrow as I use both programs and often swap between the two.
As long as I remember as I very rarely get on the boards during the day. 😕

Thanks Mike, no joy there either.

But we have found another version of the logo, so the problem is now solved.
