    Hi folks

I have made the Stop sign (movable) for a client.
It is two 60cm round plate and 2 meter pole all made by stainless steel and apply 3M vinyl. It’s has been delivery.
But it’s too heavy for a person to hold and move around a campus.
Then my client asked to change two plate to Polypenco (people use it for cutting board) to make it lighter, I’m still looking for that kind of material but
    not sure can find yet.
I’m looking for your advice, what is the polypenco? or is there any lighter material to use?

    Many thanks

    Thanks Dermot

I’m not sure if the Di-Bond can be lighter than stainless steel.
Because I’ve use 1mm thick S’S plate, I can only find 2mm thick of Di-Bond.
Is the 2mm thick Di-Bond lighter than 1mm thick S’S?

I cant say for sure, but i would think so. I have not used stainless for any signs, Dad was a fitter befour he retired and did a lot of work with stainless and i remember even the lighter thickness sheets being very heavy.
