Hi, hope someone can point me in the right direction..

We have a graphtec roll-feed cutter FC4100-75 which we’ve had from new, but has been stored for the past couple of years due to our using a large flatbed.

We now need to get the Graphtec back online and earning itself a living (!) and whilst we have got it running, it is not cutting cleanly at all. On small (under 20mm) text it is downright appalling, missing corners, ruining serifs etc.

We have changed the blade, tried the quality settings, but nothing has worked. It does look like the cutting strip (where the blade cuts against) is damaged and worn, and I have heard that the graphtec’s blade holder bearings are not brilliant, but can i get spares for these and is that likely to be the cause?

Or, does anyone know anywhere that could service / overhaul the plotter for us?

    any help appreciated!

    Hi pvluk

It does sound like your cutting strip is knackerd, or possiby you have the wrong offset or blade set up on the control panel.

If you are using a blue blade holder, make sure the offset is set to CB09U

If using a red blade holder set it to CB15U

If that doesn’t work, give one of our engineers a call on 01978 666700 they will happily talk you through it

    Phil
