    Hi All

We have a project coming up soon that requires a hard white plastic material around 0.75mm thick that can be cut straight through with a laser to form small letters that are as thick as the material.

It’s to make some ADA signs with braille. Slightly raised text allows people to feel the letters for directions etc.

We have been quoted around £ 40 per sheet of material which is 2′ x 4′ in size.

Can anybody tell me the type of material used (is it ABS ?) and a supplier that might have a better price. (We need around 40 sheets)

As usual, prices are tight so I need the best price possible…

    Cheers

    Martin

    Try Rowmark ADA applique http://www.rowmark.com/laser/ADA/ADA_Alternative.asp

The UK distributor is Identify, speak to Julie and see what sort of price you can get.

Not sure what else you could use, particularly as the applique for braille has to have a "certain feel"
