    hello chaps and chapesses,

I’ve a customer wanting to supply their own digi artwork for a banner, no probs there but i need to know how big an 1850 x 650 banner is in pixels!

I used to be able to save as and change to the pixel option but can’t figure it now!

    any ideas please?

    thanks,
    Hugh

Set your size to whatever it needs to be then change unit measurement to pixels.

    Cheers

need to know the acceptable ppi (pixels per inch) sometimes referred to dpi which is incorrect term but is used.

if your sending artwork to a printer, just send as PDF making sure its big enough.

if you print 1:1 on a A4/A3 printer, just a bit of the print… u know what it will look like

For large format stuff I ask for 100 – 150dpi finished size, vector stuff doesn’t need a resolution. Dave is right in as much as it is pixels per inch not dots per inch but when I ask for pixels it just seems to confuse some people. 100/150 is plenty really but it depends on what it is and the the distance it is viewed from.
