I’ve been asked to help on our Girl Guiding web site. My job is to try to figure out to create a members only messageboard, one for the kids and one for the adults. (Oh joy!)

With the safety aspect for the kids in mind, anyone have any suggestions as where to start? Or where to point me?

I’m loosing hair by the handfuls, all help gratefully received :worry:

    Thanks

If the web space that is been used can handle ASP (which most can) download this forum http://www.webwizguide.info/web_wiz_forums/forum_license.asp?ID=4&mode=forum

Simply upload it to the web space, make sure you read the help files as you need to know Admin passwords, from the admin screen you can set who has access to what etc

    Really is quite easy

php/asp/cgi most forum software can have protected areas, like this one and you don’t really need to have much skill to set it up (once uploaded).

it is a question on webspace as Mark said, if your using free-bee pages or cheap hosting.

If you download the forum I suggested you can change the logos before you upload it, you need to do this via your graphics software, also to remove other references to the Webwiz site you can pay a fee for removal, not sure how much this is.

    Hope this helps
