  • Perforated vinyl – recommendations please :)

    Morning All
We have been using one-way/Perforated vinyl for a long time now, but as with many of our stock products
we have become a bit complacent with the brand we use.
Although we have never experienced any issues, both production or installing, I’d be interested to know what brands other people use and the pros/cons of that brand.
Im sure as with all media, cost is an important point when purchasing, but personally i’m more interested in durability and reliability.
We have both latex and solvent printers

I look forward to your replies

I think we have a roll of Mactac in at the mo, probably from pyramid, no idea on the product code.

    Does the job, no complaints.

Been using a Monomeric version from paper graphics for a few years now, I don’t do a lot of it and only use for windows, works very well on ice cream vans.

Only have latex to print with and it works very well the only issue comes when printing solid blacks the material can lift slightly on the way through the heat element and sometime smudge, we get round this by leaving a length of media hanging so there is some weight on it.

Results are good, price is sensible and with latex lasts 3 years without a huge colour loss. Downside is they only sell by the roll.
