  • PC600 Head Alignment

Hi we have a Roland PC600 that was fitted with a new head by Roland before it was mothballed many years ago. We have just got a job that would be ideal for it as we need to print and cut some small stickers that just wont print on out larger solvent machines.

When the head was fitted it wasn’t tested as we had run out of ink and now we have some and started the machine printing it looks like the head is out of alignment or twisted slightly. Is there and way to align the head like on the solvent machines.

Also would anyone know where we could get a service manual from for it?

Any help would be very appreciated

    Mike

easy fix on a pc60 don’t know the 600 much.
on the 60 the head it is mounted on 2 screws loosen them a little and then adjust a small alan screw on the side that will twist the head in its mount.
looking down on top of the head it needs to be rotated a bit anticlockwise.

You will need the ST-042 special adjustment tool and the following instructions.

    Have fun,

    Alex.

Thanks for that, ive just set it up and got it printing bang on registration. I didn’t have the tool but found I was able to turn the screw with the tip of a scalpel.
